The Wild Life of Chris's House
|
 In
Lomie, rain is a mixed blessing. On one hand I get fresh drinking
water, saving me piles of money. On the other hand a moat appears
around my house making it very exciting getting in or out of my
house. In this picture you can see my house at the top right and the
road I normally go up to get home. Although there is an alternate
path it is hardly less treacherous and involved hopping over a foot
deep raging stream and praying you don't slip in the mud.

My
house is fantastic in most respects and although I have pest
problems with the mice, goats and ants, and the music blares from
across the street frequently, I like my home. One of the reasons is
I always have an interesting view. Sometimes it is a rambling party,
other times it is a million logging trucks and in this case a lovely
rainbow.
